Accessories are trinkets with two unique slots in the trinket section of hero panel 's equipment tab. Accessories provide the smallest attribute bonuses of the three types of trinkets, the other two being rings and amulets. For a comprehensive list, see list of accessories. An upgrade component can be applied to increase the characters attributes.
Make sure to get trinkets first since they are easy to get and have the highest stat impact beside weapons. Also some stats (Core Tyria/Vanilla) are easier to obtain (e.g. beserker stats) since you can get the trinkets with guild currency from the missions or laurels.
Get exotic gear off the TP. For everything except fractals it is all you need, and if you play the build a lot, you can get towards ascended gear for it. It is really only slightly weaker, and it will almost never be the difference maker. Honestly you only NEED ascended gear for fractals for the agony resist.
Posted April 12, 2020. Most stat selectable items, exotic or Ascended, will give you the option of choosing Trailblazers stats. For Exotic, the easiest way is probably Verdant Brink T4 for the chest then buy the rest of the armor for tokens. There’s also the Desert Armor Boxes, Legacy armor and Triumphant/Glorious armor from WvW/PvP reward
For Raids Druid healers usually have armor with Zealot stats with Superior Runes of the Monk (brought from AC dungeon tokens). Again, I don't want the final gear to be tradeable. Just the crafting components. That's why the title reads " weapon/armor crafting pieces ".

I keep 250 in my mats storage and that's it. The rest I destroy. If I ever want to make ascended gear, I can't go through more then that in a day anyway because of the crafting cooldowns, so there's no point in stockpiling. I can just go get more while the cooldown is running.
Berserker gear provides unconditional power damage, since it supplies you with all three stats relevant for power damage and with the right main stat. Valk gear has been a pseudo-viable alternative for a while due to the trait Righteous Instincts, which provided 50% bonus crit chance while you had retaliation active.
