Ele is pretty good at solo PvE, but squishy. If you want something more suited for solo, give Thief a try. regendo • 7 yr. ago. Thief is in my experience the only profession that feels even more squishy than Elementalist, which is impressive because it has more base armour. 3. Tcrumpen • 7 yr. ago. So I just returned and have an 80 Ele and 80 Necro. I’m curious how Mesmer fares currently in the various content. Im thinking about leveling one or boosting one to 80. I’m trying to figure out which I’m going to main going forward. I like the necro better than the ele. It feels like the ele requires much more work for less payoff. Hi guys, I'm looking for a durable solo PvE class and from what I read the Ranger and the Necromancer are the best/easiest ones to play. Aesthetically I prefer the Necromancer because it has more flashy animations and effects (the ranger seems a bit bland and only have a few) but I like collecting pets and having more customization options. Revenant. Here is a very fun Vindi build for PvE. I find this build very fun for both open world solo and leading group content seamlessly. It is very flexible and has many options for customization. In the video above I just wanted to demonstrate the base build, since it can both camp legends and greatsword. I hope this video was helpful, I am not a fan of making tier list videos, so I hope Anet won't ruin this current tier list soon. You can join my discord serve Right now, you've got two classes that have a lot of state-switching abilities (kits and attunement, respectively), and can generally occupy DPS roles in PvE, and a mix of aggressive or support roles in WvW/PvP. There's one class where you really can't go wrong, and it's Guardian. It's a very versatile, powerful, and (usually) forgiving class. Mesmer PvE. The Split Surge Mirage is a mesmer build for open world PvE that sustains itself by dodging A LOT. Dodging creates clones and enables you and those clones to use Ambush skills which improve the 1 skill of each weapon. On Dagger, the Ambush skill is a daze which can apply tons of vulnerability and grant you quickness due to the Some classes have it much easier in open world pve. Reaper has the highest base health pool, bonus health from shroud, and minions to take hits for you. Guardian on the other hand has the lowest base health, and relies on cc, positioning, blocks, and aegis to survive. With the classes you will need to see. Most classes can be played in a pretty different way due to their 3 elite specialisations and builds. A scourge (necromancer) is a pretty decent pick for playing solo in my opinion, since they have lots of sustain with their barrier. That’s 2 suggestions for necromancer. Yea probably soloing t1 fractals is a pretty good way to get into soloing. MAMA is the first boss of the nightmare fractal when challenge mote is activated, you can see a solo by me here - very hard to kill at first, but once you invest some time into trying you definitely learn a loooot of mechanics. 2.
