When I create the 4x5 glowstone portal and try to ignite it with the vanilla Minecraft water bucket, it does not turn into the aether portal, but instead the water simply flows over it like any other block. What you need to do, is fill in the empty portal frame with blocks, which will delete the ghost portal blocks. Then remove them, light the portal, and bam, working portal. Dark aether rift isn’t working. Me and my brother have spent about 6 hours getting all 4 items for the dark aether rift. We have all 4 items now but we can’t place any down. We go to the dark aether rift and we’re only allowed to place down he pill bottle. It won’t show a prompt to interact with the other 3 totems. (except for the Nether instead of the End) and deleted DIM-1. Now my Nether Portals don't work, DIM-1 didn't regenerate and the Nether part of level.dat disappears everytime I restart the server. Just because ONE OF the original Developers was hired doesn't mean that the Aether will be implemented. It would also take away the Aether II from Gilded Games, the group that kingbdogz founded that develops Aether I and Aether II 2OTRo.
