2022 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT Update Full Review. the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT covers ground unlike any Sports Tourer on the market.Thanks to its EURO 5 rated, I've narrowed it down to either the S1000XR or the 1290 Super Duke R. I've ridden both and like both. Bottom line, for me, is the XR is more comfortable and more versatile, but the Super Duke looks better. With the XR I'm a bit worried about the engine vibrations, with the KTM about reliability. Since I'm an average rider at best, I don't think But people forget that KTM has been manufacturing street bikes for almost 25 years. I asked if it was going to be a problem to add a battery tender pigtail while they were getting it ready, and the salesman mentioned that every bike they sell, they install the pigtail for the battery tender to be plugged into.
